Measuring and supporting hearing. From audiometry through to hearing aid fitting, every step is carried out by the same audiology team.

Procedures in this department

Hearing thresholds are measured at different frequencies in a sound booth. It establishes the type and degree of hearing loss.

The movement of the eardrum and the pressure in the middle ear are measured. It is used in particular where fluid in the middle ear is suspected.

Inner ear responses are measured painlessly while the baby sleeps. Detecting a loss early is decisive for language development.

Selecting a suitable device from the audiometry result, tuning it to the individual and following the adjustment period.

We look into whether ringing in the ear stems from hearing loss, a vascular cause or the jaw joint, and plan ways of coping with it.
